Common questions

What customers usually want to know.

These answers cover the general process. Every project is still scoped around the actual space, plans, materials and installation requirements.

Ask about your project
Do you offer free quotes?

Accurate Joinery can usually provide a free general quote when you provide useful plans, measurements, photos or a clear description. Detailed drawings, maps or design work requested before the job is confirmed are paid and quoted separately.

What should I send for a quote?

Send the project location, intended work, approximate budget, preferred timing and any plans, measurements, photos or reference images available.

Can you work from my plans?

Yes. Existing architectural, kitchen or interior plans are useful. A site measure can also be arranged where final dimensions need confirmation.

Where is Accurate Joinery based?

The workshop is at 3830A Cutts Island Road, Belfast, Christchurch. Visits are available by appointment, and the usual working hours are 8am to 5pm.

Do you handle commercial fit-outs?

Yes. Commercial joinery is a core focus, including shop fit-outs, commercial kitchens, restaurant and bar joinery, counters, shelving and business storage.

Do you renovate kitchens?

Yes. Kitchen work can include refurbishment where suitable, new cabinets, islands, pantries, doors, hardware, benchtops and custom storage.

Do you complete bathroom renovations?

Yes. Accurate Joinery can help with full bathroom renovations as well as custom vanities, bathroom cabinetry and storage. The exact scope is confirmed for each job.

Can you build garage cabinets and wardrobes?

Yes. Residential services include garage cabinets, work areas, wardrobes, cupboards, laundry cabinetry and custom home storage.

Are detailed drawings included in the general quote?

No. A general quote is usually free, but detailed drawings, maps, plans or design work requested before the job is confirmed are paid and quoted separately.

What affects custom joinery pricing?

Design complexity, materials, hardware, size, quantity, site conditions, installation and any requested design work all influence the final price.

Can you look into commercial kitchen exhaust and ducting?

Accurate Joinery can discuss or look into exhaust, ducting and supply requirements for the job. The final included scope and responsibility need to be confirmed project by project.

Can I visit the workshop?

Workshop visits are available by appointment. Contact Avinesh first so the right time and project discussion can be arranged.

What materials do you use?

Melamine is a good-quality, practical material commonly used for residential and commercial cabinetry. Accurate Joinery also works with different boards and solid or natural timbers such as oak, cedar and macrocarpa. The final choice depends on the job, intended use, client requirements and budget, and other products can be investigated where needed.
